Mystic Island Park is accessed from Belknap Avenue and is a water quality easement area upstream of the water treatment plant for Billings. It contains both a grassy field and a large area of Cottonwood river bottoms and gravel bars. It also contains the beginning (at least for now) of a miles-long paved pedestrian path that continues through Coulson and Two Moon parks and all the way to Mary Street in Billings’ Heights.
Big Sky Island is undeveloped park land accessible form the Yellowstone River. Mystic Island Park and Josephine Park also provide public access to Big Sky Island.
